I joined the Masque Players in 1985 when I started by doing props for Cinderella, the big question then was "Anyone know where I can hire a fairy coach?", since then I have acted, directed and produced my way through the years, rising to the dizzy heights of Chairman and still running the group as best I can. No-one as yet has volunteered to take the job away from me, so I must be doing something right, either that or they are all scared of me!!
Masque Players are not a cliquey group, everyone is welcome and included right from their first visit. As a group we have been through good times and bad, but we have overcome all the problems and we now have a wide age range of very talented people from many walks of life. We also have a junior group, the stars of tomorrow in the making. They all make me extremely proud to be their Chairman.
